Backstory

Emhyr Solsteel was born to the Sun Seeker Miqo'te Y-tribe in La Noscea, Vylbrand in 1537. It was here, amongst the tribe that he spent the first four to six years of his life until one fateful journey to Limsa Lominsa where he was separated from his parents during a riot, the status of Emhyrs biological parents is unknown.Emhyr was rescued by a merchant duo from Gridania, and promptly adopted. It was here, in the City State of Gridania that he grew up. Living in a moderately well-off household, Emhyr was given the opportunity to pursue many various hobbies and tasks, one of which, he became extremely talented.Before long, Emhyr became proficient in archery, providing for his family by hunting and gathering in the forests of the Black Shroud. Emhyr reached adulthood at fifteen and promptly signed up to the Gridanian armed forces in 1555, where he served for several years.
